What are the rarest cars in GTA V Online?
The Rarest Vehicles In GTA 5
With Grand Theft Auto 5, developer Rockstar Games created an open-world experience that changed gaming. It’s one players can spend thousands, or even tens of thousands, of hours playing. But even with so time spent exploring Los Santos, there are some vehicles in the game that many players, unfortunately, have never had the chance to own. Some are absurdly expensive. Others have spawn rates that are so low that acquiring them is essentially like winning the lottery. To get your hands on them, you need a whole lot of luck — then, after that, you need even more luck.
Whether you’re new to the game or still trolling the roads of Paleto Bay, here are a few of the rarest vehicles in GTA 5, including where to find them and how to unlock them. If you want to become the envy of all your GTA-playing friends, all you have to do is roll up — or fly up — in one of these.
Imponte Ruiner 2000
How much money do you have lying around in Grand Theft Auto Online? If you’re like most players, who are unfortunate in their daily grind, you likely have a million or two stashed away from your various criminal enterprises. Perhaps you reinvest your money. Maybe you spent it all on two-bit clothing and lackluster vehicles.
It’s time to step up your criminal mishaps with an Imponte Ruiner 2000. What makes the Ruiner 2000 rare? It’s cost, for one. Can you confidently say you’re willing to drop nearly $6 million on a two-door classic muscle car? Well, the price is, to be precise, $5,745,600 from Warstock Cache & Carry.
For almost $6 million, what do you get? Rocket launchers, machine guns, homing missiles, armor plating, and all the usual accoutrements associated with customizable muscle cars in Grand Theft Auto Online. Now, are you willing to spend millions of dollars on one of GTA 5‘s most expensive land-based vehicles? That is the real question.
RM-10 Bombushka
The RM-10 Bombushka is a plane outfitted for battle, which makes it perfect for the world of Grand Theft Auto 5. The thing is, you can’t just find one lying around at any old airfield in the game. You have to buy it — and this beast isn’t cheap.
This GTA aircraft is exclusive to Warstock Cache & Carry and can be yours for the low, low price of $5,918,500. Just shy of $6 million. But for millions of dollars, you genuinely do receive a flying fortress. The RM-10 Bombushka features a spacious interior, complete with the main cabin, nose cabin, control room, and cargo hold. It also comes equipped with an autocannon, a machine gun, numerous explosives, remote turrets, and a rack of assault rifles.
The Bombushka has pretty much everything you need to wage war in GTA 5. The downside? You’re one massive target in the sky.
Jobuilt P-996 LAZER
The Jobuilt P-996 LAZER is agile, fast, and well-armed to tackle any clan harassing the server. As the second fighter jet in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, the P-996 LAZER spawns at Fort Zancudo, where the player may steal one to fly around in free roam. But if you want to own a personal LAZER, head on over to Warstock Cache & Carry.
Over at Warstock, the military armament dealer happily sells the personal fighter jet for $6,500,000. For paying such a hefty price, you’ll receive dual explosive cannons capable of destroying most armored targets in the game, and lock-on or manual-fire missiles. Both weapons have short reload times, which is helpful in the middle of a dogfight.
While Rockstar Games routinely release airborne vehicles armed to the teeth, the P-996 LAZER positions itself as a classic fighter jet that can hold its own in battle.
Buckingham Luxor Deluxe
What is the point of amassing millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains through criminal enterprises, including money laundering and drug distribution, if you cannot spend that cash on a gold-plated private jet? For some, the Buckingham Luxor Deluxe is the epitome of Grand Theft Auto Online. It is rooted in reality, first off, making it a viable piece of virtual property that genuinely makes sense. At least, more so than a hoverbike in this game world.
For the privilege of flying the skies in style, though, you’ll have to fork over $10,000,000, which is no small amount. It can take players months of grinding to accumulate that amount of in-game money. For $10 million, Heists are a fun way to accumulate the cash. Some players wind up treating the game like a full-time job to gather the money, though.
As far as what you get with the Buckingham Luxor Deluxe, there are no rocket launchers, autocannons, or machine guns to help you fight off other players. Instead, the jet is simply made of gold. That’s it. It’s a luxury item. A status symbol, if you will, but nothing more than that. You likely won’t see many players flying one in free roam, making it quite rare.
Modded Dubsta 2
How often do you find yourself driving along Vespucci Beach in anything less than a $3,000,000 hypercar? For most, it’s not often. Back in the day, when Grand Theft Auto Online launched, you would be forgiven for driving, say, a Declasse Vigero. But these days, if your vehicle isn’t rare, heavily modded, and expensive, why even bother?
You don’t have to settle for an everyday vehicle when an extremely rare Modded Dubsta 2 awaits. But first, if you want to find a Modded Dubsta 2 spawn, you must meet specific requirements. Prepare yourself, because this one can take a while.
The Modded Dubsta 2 spawns between 8 AM and 3 PM near a particular driveway in Vinewood Hills. Once you carjack your first Modded Dubsta 2, you can take it to Los Santos Customs to make it your own. Afterward, you can use it to spawn more by taking your newfound possession to a specific intersection on West Eclipse Boulevard. Once you arrive, you’ll see a another copy of the vehicle, which will spawn there daily without you having to camp out and wait for it.
Rusted Tractor
With an unimaginable breadth of supercars, rocket bikes, personal jets, and autocannon-wielding tanks, Grand Theft Auto features a ton of unique options to get around. It’s somewhat understandable, then, that you’d ask: why a tractor? Some players think that Rockstar Games is trolling the community by implementing a player-owned tractor unlockable via Sponsorship Tier 1000 in Arena War game modes. It is the reward for reaching the max level. Unfortunately, getting one may ultimately prove too difficult.
To start, you may not find as many players in Arena War now as there were when it first launched. Unlocking the rusted tractor and achieving Sponsorship Tier 1000 will require you to play tens of thousands of matches, and you need to win each one. For most, that may seem impossible. But if you are dead set on driving a tractor in Grand Theft Auto, a few spawn around the map, such as at El Gordo Lighthouse near Grapeseed. Just keep in mind that the tractor is slow and unwieldy, and therefore prone to attack by other players.
Space Docker
When you hop into a free roam session in Grand Theft Auto Online, you’re inundated with futuristic vehicles, like the Oppressor Mk. 2 in all its overbearing glory. You wouldn’t think GTA 5 and GTA Online delved into the futuristic, at least not at first glance. But dig deeper. Rockstar Games added a touch of mystery and mystique to its open-world game with vehicles like the rare Space Docker available to players willing to grind.
How do you get a Space Docker in Grand Theft Auto 5? It’s not easy. If you want the privilege of driving this retro-futuristic buggy, then prepare to grind through Arena War to achieve Sponsorship Tier 500.
That doesn’t sound overly difficult, especially with game modes like Demolition Derby, which is an absolute blast to play online. Unfortunately, Arena War launched way back on Dec. 11, 2018. Since then, Rockstar has continuously updated and improved upon its multiplayer mayhem modes with recent content updates and features. Even back in 2018, the thrill wore off quickly and many players quit the mode outright. You’d be hard-pressed to find an active lobby to grind out Sponsorship Tiers nowadays.
FIB Buffalo
Who within the Grand Theft Auto community has never found themselves on the wrong side of the law in-game? No one. It’s all part of the experience. But if the local police cannot handle your shenanigans, then the Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB) enters the fray. The alphabet letter agency houses tough-as-nails agents donning body armor and more potent weapons than what LSPD carries daily. They also drive better vehicles, like the unique FIB Buffalo.
The federal chase vehicle is a modified sports sedan that, unfortunately, is rather tough to get your hands on for keeps. Sure, you can steal one after taking down an FIB agent. You cannot modify or insure it, though. If you want to secure an FIB Buffalo, prepare to grind out Hostile Takeover VIP missions. The one you want involves the Los Santos National Airport, where a single obtainable FIB Buffalo spawns in one of the hangars.
Maibatsu Mule
With many, many basic vehicles available to purchase, you can’t help but ask yourself, «Why?» The whole point of Grand Theft Auto is freedom. The freedom to do as you please, to drive what you please, and to have fun doing so. That’s why this unique Maibatsu Mule — a unique variant of the typical box truck — remains coveted among many online.
What makes this Maibatsu Mule so unique and worthwhile? This is a unique ramp door version of the box truck, which the GTA team initially cut from the game. Rockstar, however, later reintroduced it into Grand Theft Auto Online. The thing is, Rockstar only included the unique box truck in a single resupply mission during the Gunrunning update, and you can’t steal it to own. Once you complete the Steal Supplies Mission and destroy a rival competitor in the drug trade, you lose the truck.
Lost Slamvan
The Lost Slamvan — a completely unique variant of the Vapid Slamvan — is a super rare vehicle in Grand Theft Auto Online. In order to get one, you’ll need a lot of good fortune while spinning the Lucky Wheel at Diamond Casino & Resort.
When you spin the wheel, which you can do once per day, you have a ~14.3% chance of winning a mystery vehicle. If you win, there is a ~0.72% chance of that mystery vehicle being a Lost Slamvan. In total, the chance comes out to a roughly 0.005% shot, which equates to 1 in 20,000. This makes the Lost Slamvan one of the most hard-to-come-by vehicles in the whole game.
Anyone lucky enough to win the Lost Slamvan, which features designs from the Lost Motorcycle Club, will truly earn the right to show it off. Perhaps one day Rockstar will make this unique variant easier to obtain, or maybe it’ll just stay rare forever.

Learn how to get the rarest cars and put them in your garage in this guide to GTA Online.
GTA Online has a huge pool of all sorts of vehicles: cars, motorbikes, aircrafts, and even bicycles. Every new DLC adds even more vehicles to the current roster. Some of them are extremely valuable, and many players are putting a lot of effort into finding them.
However, most of the so-called rare cars aren’t that rare, to be honest. But this guide will help you get the rarest cars in GTA Online — the ones that are truly hard to get. Here is the list of the cars:
- Romero Hearse
- Dundreary Stretch
- Police Riot
- Imponte Dukes
- Vapid Dominator
Romero Hearse
This glorious sedan first appeared in GTA: San Andreas. Since then it could be seen in every other game of the GTA series. However, in time the developers have changed the spawn frequency and the location of the vehicle, and currently, it is considered one of the rarest cars in GTA Online.
Romero Hearse entered the world of GTA Online after an update, titled “Lowriders.” The vehicle could be first spotted during the “Funeral Party” mission given by the character named Lamar Davis. But how do you actually get one and put in your garage?
- First, you need to get in contact with another player, who already owns the Romero Hearse vehicle.
- Then, let them drive you to the Hill Valley Church that is located on the West Eclipse Boulevard near the Los Santos Golf Club.
- You need to pay attention to the three specific spots:
- the parking lot at the cemetery,
- the front of the church,
- and the side of the church.
- At least one free Romero Hearse will spawn on one of those spots, and you can drive it to your garage afterwards.
Dundreary Stretch
Basically, Stretch is a limousine, the most common type you’ve ever seen, but for some reason, you can’t just go and buy this beast of a car in GTA Online.
It first appeared in GTA III and since then it has been one of the most sought out cars in the GTA franchise. There are many different variants of Stretch, such as Royal Stretch, Sports Stretch, and even Armed Stretch with a turret on its roof.
- This type of car rarely spawns on a Vinewood Boulevard — an iconic street in GTA Online.
- There are two possible spots:
- Oriental Theater at the Downtown Vinewood,
- and Pegasus Concierge Hotel on 8358 Eclipse Boulevard in West Vinewood.
- Some players have reported that Stretch can randomly spawn on the streets of Downtown Vinewood, but it is an extremely rare case.
- A special pink version of the Dundreary Stretch sometimes spawns at the entrance of the Cockatoos Nightclub on Hawick Avenue and Eastbourne Way in Burton and Rockford Hills.
Police Riot
This one in particular is the new type of vehicle introduced in GTA V designed after a real-life Lenco Bear. It is used by the National Office of Security Enforcement (NOOSE), but you can also own it and keep it for your personal collection, if you know how.
- You can spot the vehicle during the Pacific Standard heist job, especially if civilians are getting killed.
- Otherwise, a common Police Cruiser will appear instead.
- Another time the Police Riot spawns during the Asset Seizure mission, which is a part of the Import/Export update.
- Most commonly it spawns at four locations:
- Police Station of the district of Vespucci,
- Davis Sheriff’s Station on Innocence Boulevard,
- Sandy Shores Sheriff’s Station on Alhambra Drive,
- and Sheriff’s Office on Paleto Boulevard in Paleto Bay.
- Players that manage to find this vehicle get a free Body Armor.
Imponte Dukes
Dukes is one of the rarest muscle cars in GTA Online, and is rightfully considered the hottest vehicle in the game. It was unavailable for driving for some time, but with the 1.33 patch this issue was fixed, and the players were given the ability to put it inside their garage.
- You can find one by driving beyond the borders of Los Santos — at the Great Ocean Highway, which is also known as Route 1.
- If you can’t find it there, then there are five other spots, where Dukes may spawn:
- Rancho neighborhood inside Los Santos,
- an incorporated city of Davis in southern Los Santos County,
- La Puerta (the home of the Maze Bank Stadium) — a small area in southern Los Santos,
- an industrial neighborhood of Cypress Flats,
- and at the Vespucci Beach.
- If you desperately need the car, and you can’t find a naturally-generated one, then you can buy one at Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $62,000.
- However, this option is available only to players who return from the PS3/Xbox 360 versions.
Vapid Dominator
The classical design of Dukes may not fit everybody’s taste, and that’s why Dominator exists — a modernized version of the muscle car concept. Also, this version is a bit easier to get than the Dukes one, so it serves as a perfect alternative.
- The first option you should try is to check the Simeon’s list, if the Dominator is available for the Car Export mission.
- Dominator can randomly spawn during a car meet as a part of one of the Import missions.
- However, the easiest way is to find one at the biggest neighborhood in Downtown Los Santos — Pillbox Hill.
- But you must drive another muscle car for it to spawn on the streets.
There are many other cars in GTA Online that could be tagged as “rare,” but you can buy most of them on the car markets. Other most wanted vehicles are simply not available for driving, but they should be in the upcoming patches, so stay tuned.
